  • Matsyasana In this asana, the body posture looks like a fish. It helps in improving the nervous function of the brain. Also, this yoga posture reduces the risk of epilepsy. To do Matsyasana, place a yoga mat on the floor and sit in the posture of Padmasana, now bend backward at a slow pace, hold the left leg with the right hand and hold the right foot with the left hand. Take a deep breath and take the chest upward. Although, the head should remain on the ground. After holding this posture for a few seconds, come back to the normal position. Take the head as close to the knees as possible. If you can do this easily, then try to take the hands behind the legs and try to touch the heels. Now slowly return to the original position. Raise your hands from both sides of the body and place them in the front of the yoga mat. In such a situation, your palms should touch the ground. Now contract the thigh muscles.
