Since last 4 years I am taking Mirtaz 7.5 first two years was under observation and now I am taking it without observation. As I am feeling better I want this medicine to discontinue and I don't know how? Please guide me

Well, Mirtazapine is a very good molecule and should only be taken after being prescribed by a psychiatrist. A psychiatrist would assess you clinically and gradually taper and stop the medication or shift to another molecule. Please don't change or handle medications by self. These medicines alter the neurotransmitters in your brain and should be consumed only under guidance of a professional. Sudden changes in dosage can cause relapse of symptoms. Better to consult your psychiatrist and then make required changes.
