Dr Anil Kumar's experience as an Interventional Cardiologist spans over 3 decades during which he has performed more than 5000 interventions (Coronary and Non-Coronary). Non-Coronary interventions included Pulmonary Valvuloplasty, Mitral Valvuloplasty, Renal Artery Angioplasty and Aortic Valvuloplasty. He has been asssociated with Bombay Hospital since 2003 and has numerous publications and paper presentations, both in India and overseas, to his credit.
Cardiological Society of India, Association of Physicians of India. He is currently Honorary Interventional Cardiologist to H.E. Governor of Maharashtra, Hon. Professor of Cardiology at Grant Medical College and J.J. Group of Hospitals, Hon. Consultant Cardiologist at Police Hospital.
WCCPC Lifetime Achievement Award bestowed upon by His Excellency Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Ex-President of India in 2006. Fellowship of American College of Cardiology (FACC) awarded by the American College of Cardiology. Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) awarded by the Royal College of Physicians London.
D.M. Cardiology from T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai. Post Doctor (Super Speciality) Degree in Cardiology.
