Dr. Kaul has started a number of new techniques in Interventional Cardiology which include percutaneous cardiopulmonary bypass, rotational & directional atherectomy, coronary stenting and percutaneous laser myocardial revascularization etc. He was formerly Professor of Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
