Introduction

Dietician Himani is a very reputed Nashik based dietician with an experience spaning over 10 years. Over the years, she has counselled patients involving – Obesity , Diabetes mellitus - type I and II, GDM , Osteoporosis , Thyroid Disorders, Hepatitis , CVD, Renal Diseases, Weight Gain, GI Disturbances - involving Full Diet, Enteral and Parenteral feeds, Partial Parenteral and Total Parenteral Nutrition, Pre - and Post - Operative diets and mentally challenged conditions like autism. She also works in close coordination with marathon enthusiasts, aspiring athletes, state level cricket players as a sports nutrition advisor. She has been appointed as Paper setter and Examiner for the course Diploma in Hotel Management under the MSBTE, Mumbai and Examiner for the BHSc under the YCMOU, Nasik since 2009. She is the Programme Co-coordinator for ‘DEPTH – Diabetes Education Prevention and Training Hub’ a philanthropic venture to promote diabetes education, management and awareness among diabetic, non-diabetic and pre-diabetic patients and relatives – since 2014. She has a one minute capsule programme ‘Health Tips’ aired on the local radio channel Radio Vishwas 90.3 since Nov 2013.
