Introduction

Dr Snehal Bhange is the head of General Surgery Dept and a Full time Consultant with Jaslok Hospital since 2010. She did her MBBS from Govt Medical College Nagpur and her Masters in General Surgery from Nair hospital Mumbai. She has an advanced fellowship in Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic surgery from the Prince of Wales Hospital, Hongkong . She specializes in all General and Laparoscopy work. She has expertise in treating perianal pathologies (like Hemorrhoids, Fissures, Fistulas). She has keen interest in dealing with various benign and cancerous Breast and Thyroid pathologies. She expertly handles various abdominal wall hernias, groin hernias etc both open and laparoscopically. She has a keen interest in teaching the future generation of surgeons and she is a post graduate teacher for the DNB postgraduate surgical training program which is a part of Jaslok hospital since decades. This allows her time for research and publication too. Dr Snehal Bhange is also interested in the administrative side of things and has pursued her Diploma in Health Administration from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences ,Mumbai. Being a Full Time Surgeon attached to Jaslok Hospital since 2010, she is available for dedicated patient care at all times.
