Introduction

Dr Jayshri Shah is a top hepatologist of Mumbai with an experience of over 16 years. In United Kingdom ( 2001-2009): Dr Jayshri Shah went to UK to pursue further superspeciality training and worked in tertiary centres for 8 years. MRCP and super-speciality training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (CCST, accredited by JRPTB, UK). 2007- Fellowship in Liver transplantation at Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham for a year. 2009- Awarded the Joint Advisory Group (JAG-UK, Royal College of physicians, accreditation for all endoscopic (diagnostic and therapeutic) procedures including OGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and double balloon enteroscopy (DBE) Back to India (2010 onwards): Dr Jayshri Shsh set up the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Sevenhills hospital and worked there for 2 years. May 2012 to Feb 2014-Attached to Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani Hospital. During this period Dr Jayshri Shsh was the Lead Hepatologist and further developed the Endoscopy department to provide diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), ERCP and Capsule endoscopy , besides therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy. Currently at Jaslok Hospital And Research Centre, Mumbai.
