Dr. Gaurav Chaubal is the Chief Liver Transplant Surgeon at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre. Dr Gaurav Chaubal has experience of over 600 liver transplants. His team has done Mumbai's First Kidney Pancreas Transplant and the First Adult Dual lobe living donor liver transplant in Western Maharashtra. He is a gold medalist in MS General surgery and has done MCH in Gastrointestinal Surgery from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has done his Fellowship in GI Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital and is trained in Laparoscopic Liver Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital and Samsung Medical Centre, South Korea.

Dr Gaurav Chaubal has trained in General Surgery and Super specialization in Surgical Gastroentrology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), New Delhi. He has done his Post Superspecialisation in Surgical Gastroentrology, and a Fellowship in GI and HPB Cancer Surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai from 2012 - 2013. He has done his Fellowship in Abdominal Transplant Surgery at premier institute Duke University, USA. Dr Gaurav Chaubal has done his Fellowship in Laparoscopic Hepatobiliary Surgery in Seoul National University Hospital and Samsung Medical Centre, Korea in 2015. He has worked as Liver Transplant and HPB Surgeon in Global Hospital, Mumbai from 2015 - 2017.
