Dr. Gaurav Gupta received transplant training at World famous Thomas Starzl Transplant Institute, Pittsburgh, USA. It is considered as "Mecca" of Liver Transplant. Dr. Gaurav Gupta has an experience of more than 250 Liver transplants (Living Donor and Cadaveric) and 150 Kidney Transplants. Dr. Gaurav Gupta has a special interest in combined organ transplants like Simultaneous Liver Kidney Transplant (SLK) or Kidney Pancreas Transplant (SPK). Before joining Wockhardt group of Hospitals Dr. Gaurav Gupta has worked as consultant in Liver Transplant at Fortis Hospital, Delhi.

Dr Gaurav Gupta has an experience of more than 100 liver transplants with 30 as a primary surgeon, more than 80 kidneys transplant as a primary surgeon and was also involved in approximately 20 pediatric liver recipients (split, whole and living donor) at the Penn Transplant Institute, USA At the Abdominal Multi-organ Transplant Fellow at StarzlTransplant Institute, USA, Dr Gupta has performed more than 120 Liver transplants including 35 as primary surgeon, that includes 30 living donor liver recipients and around 40 donor nephrectomies including 12 as Primary surgeon.
