Dr. Aseem Thamba is best Consultant Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician from Mumbai in Maharashtra over a last 13 years. Dr. Thamba has worked as Chief Medical Officer at Primary Health Centre at Nimgaonkhari in Ahmedabad where he was managing a health centre which was catering to six villages. His association with Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre was started in 2002 when he held a position of Clinical Assistant in the Department of Nephrology. His passion towards teaching gave him an opportunity to work with BYL Nair Muncipal Medical College and Hospital in the Department of Medicine as Lecturer. He has been pursuing his passion by conducting DNB Nephrology post-doctoral teaching programmes and research activities for DNB students. Currently, Dr Aseem Thambha is Honorary Consultant Nephrologist at Wockhardt Hospital, South Mumbai-A New Age Hospital.

Education

Dr. Thamba holds an MBBS degree which he has pursued from Padmashree Dr. DY Patil Medical College. It was followed by MD in Internal Medicine from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals. His illustrious academic career also includes a distinction of qualifying for United States Medical Licence Examination (USMLE Step 1 and Step 2). He is a recipient of 'Diplomate of National Board”' (DNB– Nephrology) degree which was awarded by National Board of Examinations, Ministry of Health, New Delhi.
