Introduction

Dr Sachin Giri is one of the best neurosurgeon in Mumbai, Powai Dr. Sachin Giri has done his MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College & B. Y. L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai and MS (General surgery) from Government Grant Medical College & Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. Due to his interest in minimally invasive surgery, he has completed his fellowships like Fellowship in Minimal access Surgery (FMAS) and Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (FIAGES). He further pursued his career in Neurosurgery and completed his MCh Neurosurgery training from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and General Hospital, Mumbai in 2014. During his neurosurgical training, he received a prestigious 'Best Super-specialty Resident Award'. He has published many research articles in national and international journals. He is also a recipient of 'Best Paper Awards' in state and National conferences. In 2015, he won scholarship from the European Association of Neurological Societies (EANS) and went to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge University to learn the advanced spine, vascular, skull base surgeries. In 2016, he completed his Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiolgy (FINR) from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou County, Taiwan. After completion of fellowships, he joined in Government Grant Medical College & Sir J. J. group of hospitals, Mumbai where he worked as an Assistant Professor in Department of Neurosurgery for three and half years. He has presented many scientific papers in various national and international conferences and was also a faculty member in various teaching workshops. He has successfully treated many patients with complex brain problems like tumors, aneurysm, various cancers and spine problems like spondylosis, deformities, fractures and spine tumors. His areas of interest are endoscopic surgeries, vascular surgeries and intervention, minimal invasive spine surgeries, pediatric neurosurgery and skull base surgeries.
