Deep Vein Thrombosis ( DVT ) or venous thrombosis is a condition where there is blood clot formation in the deep vein of the body. This condition can occur in lower leg, pelvic and thigh regions veins. This can also occur in other parts of the body like brain, intestines, liver veins, etc. The treatments include medications, compression stockings and surgery.
