Thrombophlebitis is a imflammatory condition where a blood clot is formed in the veins, which causes the blood flow to slow down in that vein. This mostly occurs in the veins of the legs, arms or any other body part. The treatment may include medications, varicose vein stripping surgery, compression socks, vena cava filters.
