The surgery done to repair congenital condition called cleft lip and cleft palate, is known as cleft lip and palate repair surgeries. Cleft lip is the split or opening in the upper lip and cleft palate is the split or opening in the roof of the mouth. Sometimes, cleft lip and cleft palate are seen together.
