Circumcision surgery is the procedure of removing the foreskin covering the head of the penis ( glans ) . It can be done in new borns, or in adults. It can be done for the treatment of medical conditions like phimosis, para-phimosis, etc. There are various methods of doing this surgery. The advantage of doing this surgery is that there is reduced risk of penile cancer, UTI's or sexually transmitted diseases.
