Hysteroscopy is a procedure done to look inside the female's uterus, in order to examine and diagnose conditions like bleeding problems in females, uterine polyps, uterine fibroids, etc.

The procedure is done by using a hysteroscope which is a thin tube with light on one end. This is inserted into the vagina to examine cervix and uterus.
