Introduction

Dr. Raju Vyas has been actively involved in the pre, peri and post operative management. Surgically he has been exposed to the whole spectrum of adult and neonatal and congenital surgical procedures including Beating heart bypass, On pump CABG ,Valve Replacement, Redo CABG ,redo valve replacement, arterial switch, Sennings operation, TAPVD, Fontan, TOF and its variants. In ICU Dr Raju Vyas has managed various post-operative and surgical complications like ventilation, low cardiac output, capillary leak syndrome, post-operative acute renal failure needing dialysis, resistant arrhythmias and modulating vasodilators/diuretic therapy in post-operative period. During his registrarship at G.B. Pant Hospital and LPS Institute of Cardiology, besides being trained in paediatric and adult Cardio Thoracic surgery, Dr Raju Vyas had also had good exposure to lung and vascular procedures. Dr. Vyas has also been exposed to thoracic and vascular surgical emergencies. During this period he had the opportunity of performing CABG’s, valvular & simple congenital procedures under-guidance.
