Dr. Satpal Singh Pannu completed his under graduation from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and post-graduation from Bombay University. He is trained in Ophthalmic Microsurgery and IOL Implantation from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. He has over 20 years of experience in Ophthalmology in large and tertiary care hospitals of the Indian Navy. He later worked as a Consultant in Saifee and Prince Aly Khan Hospitals, Mumbai. He has performed high volumes of phacoemulsification surgeries with foldable IOLs using the latest techniques. He has in-depth knowledge of Glaucoma, Squint and their medical and surgical management. He is a recognized post-graduate teacher of Mumbai University and worked there as Associate Professor. He has several publications and presentations to his credit and has been a referee to Medical Journal Armed Forces of India. His areas of special interest are squint and ocular surface disorders.
