Dr. Bijal Shrivastava is working at Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital as Full Time pediatric consultant since August 2006.Dr. Bijal Shrivastava has been into pediatric practice for the last 12 years. Initially, Dr. Bijal Shrivastava worked as a lecturer in B.J. Wadia children’s hospital, Mumbai. Then as a clinical assistant at P.D. Hinduja hospital in the intensive care unit for a year. Dr. Bijal Shrivastava has also been an observer in the intensive care unit at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York. Dr. Bijal Shrivastava has had a distinction in pathology and in medicine during her postgraduate training. Dr. Bijal Shrivastava had won Dr. Palekar prize for being first among GS and KEM hospital students in 1999. Presently, at Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital, Dr. Bijal Shrivastava is taking care of OPD patients, indoor admissions and taking care of a 9 bedded vibrant NICU. Also, Dr. Bijal Shrivastava along with the pediatric physiotherapy department has initiated a specialty clinic - `HOPE CLINIC’, which is intended to detect early any neurological problems of the babies who have had a turbulent NICU course, and then subsequently take care of those problems to prevent any long term handicaps in those infants
