Dr Swanand Kulkarni is working as a Full Time Consultant in Cardiac Rehabilitation with Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital. Having worked at Asian Heart Institute and Research Centre, B.K.C., Mumbai previously, he is well experienced in handling patients; Post Bypass surgery (CABG), Post Valve Replacement, Angioplasty (PTCA), Post Coronary Angiography (CAG), Post AICD, Congestive Heart Failure, Rheumatic Heart Diseases (RHD), Congenital Heart Diseases, Individuals who are at a risk of developing heart disease OR Individuals on Medical Management and individuals with/without Low Ejection Fraction undergoing E.E.C.P. treatment; along with all Orthopedic Injury Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation and Occupational cum Ergonomic Consultation; and treatment to make every individual independent and free from potential chance of any future injury and/or prevention of any type of deformity or future potential chance which could be due to any type of faulty or wrong occupational hazard. Dr Swanand has 9 years of clinical experience in preventive and rehabilitative Cardiology. He was involved in training Cardiac Patients for the Standard Charter Marathon (2011-2012-2013-2016); Hiranandani Powai Run (2016-2017-2018-2019-2020); Thane Half Marathon (2016-2017-2018-2019). He has also given Oral presentations at various State & National Conferences. He has been involved in conducting health talk to create more awareness about heart disease and its risk factors in all levels of the Corporate and various strata of the society. Dr Swanand’s fields of interests are Creating awareness of all phases of Cardiac Rehabilitation in general population, E.E.C.P. (Enhanced External Counter Pulsation), Exercise Prescription, Cardio-Pulmonary Physical Therapy; Post Cardiac-Invasive-Procedure underwent Individuals’ recovery, Post Cardiac-Non-Invasive-Procedure underwent Individuals’ recovery, Wellness for Geriatric Population, Primary Prevention, Secondary Prevention, Smoking & Tobacco Cessation in General Population, Effective Weight Loss, Metabolic Disease Reversal, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation and Occupational Consultation.
