Introduction

Dr.Amita Shah is a dedicated and reputed Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.Dr.Amita Shah completed her MBBS from King George Medical College, Lucknow in 1994 and further studied M.D. (Obs-Gynae) from L.L.R.M. Medical College, Meerut in 1998. Dr.Amita Shah has worked as a Rotating Intern at P.L. Sharma Hospital in Meerut. Dr.Amita Shah has provided her services as a Visiting Consultant at Holy Angels Hospital, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi and Ayushman Hospital, Dwarka, Delhi. Dr.Amita Shah has also got the opportunity to work as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Independent Clinic, Munirka, New Delhi. Because of Dr.Amita Shah's academic excellence, Dr.Amita Shah has been honored and acknowledged with awards on several occasions like the ‘DhanvantriGold Medal’for best performance in M.D. (Obs-Gynae) examination; and ‘Dr. Usha Sharma Running Trophy for being adjudged for year 1998/1999 – The best junior resident in Obstetrics & Gynaecology’. Few of her papers like ‘Comparative study of various methods of fetal weight estimation at term pregnancy’ have been published in the Souvenir of the 10th Annual Conference of the U.P. Chapter of FOGSI and presented at various National Conferences.
