Introduction

Dr. Vaishali Joshi has done her basic medical (MBBS) and post-graduate training (M.D.) in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Seth G. S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial (K.E.M.) Hospital, Mumbai. She has completed Specialist Training Program in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the London Deanery and has achieved CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in United Kingdom. During this, Dr. Joshi has developed expertise in managing early pregnancy problems, recurrent miscarriages and tubal and ovarian cyst problems. She has been managing high risk pregnancy with evidence-based medicine and promotes natural child birth. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, London, and is on the Specialist Register of The General Medical Council, U.K. She has successfully completed diagnostic and treatment training for pre-cancerous lesions of women's genitalia (including cervix, vagina and vulval problems) and has received accreditation from the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) for the same. She is an expert in advanced gynecological laparoscopic surgeries including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy and ovarian cystectomy. She has been conferred Diploma in Operative Gynecological Endoscopy from European University, Clerot-Ferrand, France. She has performed complicated hysterectomies with Da Vinci Robot system in U.K. after getting training at Chitra Sethia MAS Centre at University College London.
