Having received the gold medal as best outgoing CRRI at her medical school, Dr Vanitha Shri R has worked under a leading endogynecologist and infertility specialist in Chennai Dr (Dr Geetha Haripriya) where Dr Vanitha Shri R has developed interest in OBG. As a registrar during her DNB training, Dr Vanitha Shri R took keen interest in working upinfertility patients, performing IUI and regularly assisting IVF-ICSI. Dr Vanitha Shri R has assisted a leading endogynecologist (DrSasikala Kola)at Hyderabad a large variety of gynecologic endoscopic procedures including laparoscopic hysterectomies (405), myomectomies(103), endometriosis (122) amongst others. Dr Vanitha Shri R developed proficieny in performing ultrasound including anamoly scans. Dr Vanitha Shri R routinely conducted or supervised about 10-15 vaginal deliveries including forceps or vacuum deliveries during a night call. Dr Vanitha Shri R has developed expertise in conducting difficult Caesarean sections including previous Caesarean, hand prolapse and placenta previa safely. Dr Vanitha Shri R has performed vaginal hysterectomy for prolapse independently and non descent vaginal hysterectomy under supervision. Dr Vanitha Shri R further refined her principles and practice of vaginal surgeries under the guidance of the pioneer of urogynecology in India (Prof N RajaMaheswari).
