What to avoid during pregnancy?

Women have to take good care of their health and diet when they conceive. Before pregnancy, women do not have to worry much about food during pregnancy, but they should take care of themselves. Many women have all the information about what to do and what not to do during pregnancy. However, a few women do not know what they should avoid in pregnancy to maintain their and their baby’s health. Let us know about what to avoid during pregnancy.

What should a pregnant woman avoid? 

It is very important for a pregnant woman to take care of multiple things such as food, sleep, morning walk and getting a check-up at the right time, etc. Women should keep away from certain things during pregnancy.

  • Reduce exercise: Exercise is good for the health of everyone, but if the woman has conceived, then she should not involve in excessive exercise. It can harm the child.   • Try to be stress-free: Stress is generally not good for any human being. Stress is harmful for pregnant women. Stress reduces fertility. Women must avoid stress if they want their child to be stress-free. According to a certain research, women feel relaxed when they are stress-free. Many women cannot conceive due to tension. Women must remove all the stress from their mind to calm themselves down. Women who wish to conceive, must exercise, talk with their spouse and get complete sleep.   • Avoid half cooked eggs: Eggs are beneficial for the health, but raw eggs are not suitable for women who are trying to conceive Eating raw eggs, women have an increased risk of the infection of Salmonella. This infection causes stomach pain, diarrhea, pelvic pain, fever, cold, headache, blood in stool, vomiting etc. Eggs contain antibiotics that are harmful for women trying to conceive. Consume organic eggs if possible. 

Some other suggestions: 

  • Women should eat raw papaya during pregnancy as it contains harmful enzymes, which are harmful for the fetus. It might lead to miscarriage.
  • Women must quit smoking and drinking alcohol during pregnancy. Its consumption has an ill-effect on the fetus.
  • Women must not drink coffee or tea during pregnancy. They contain a high amount of caffeine, which harms the baby growing in the womb. 
  • Eating raw food is harmful in pregnancy as it causes stomach ailments. For example, do not eat raw sprouts or raw non-veg at all, eat only nutritious and cooked food.
