Leukopenia Treatment

Leukopenia is the decreased count in the number of white blood cells.  The threshold count for adults & children vary. Usually it is caused by:

  • Cancer

  • Growth factors such as granulocyte colony-stimulating factor can help in treating leukopenia if it is due to chemotherapy or genetic factors
