Leukopenia Treatment
Leukopenia is the decreased count in the number of white blood cells. The threshold count for adults & children vary. Usually it is caused by:
- Viral infections
- Cancer
- Auto-immune disorder
- Severe infections

Symptoms
The symptoms of Leukopenia are:

- Chills

- Removal of agents or medications causing the decrease in number
- Addition of Vitamins to treat any underlying diseases
- Growth factors such as granulocyte colony-stimulating factor can help in treating leukopenia if it is due to chemotherapy or genetic factors
