  • A wisdom tooth is positioned behind the teeth used for chewing. Thus, pain can be felt in the posterior part of the jaw.

The following measures help prevent wisdom tooth ache: 

  • Regular dental checkups are required to diagnose any problem that may develop later. 
  • Symptoms must be detected as early as possible. This can be done by regular checkups. 
  • Contact a dentist immediately if you have extreme pain in the wisdom tooth, headache, sputum and bleeding. 
  • Brush twice a day. Also, use a mouthwash.
  • Drink sufficient water to prevent the accumulation of food particles.
