What is the difference between choosing Next available GP/Pediatrician and choosing a Specific Doctor?

In case of Next Available GP/Pediatrician, the objective is to connect you to the practitioner immediately. Hence, post payment, the system connects you at once to a general physician that is available online and who accepts your request. Same process is followed for Next Available Pediatrician. You know the identity of the practitioner after the call is connected.

In case of choosing a specific doctor, you select the specific doctor that you want to connect with and schedule a visit for a specific time. Once you receive a confirmation from the doctor, you proceed with payment. At the scheduled time, you will receive a video link or a call from us and we will connect you to that doctor.

How long is each consult?

Standard medical consultations are approximately fifteen minutes and most visits are completed within this time frame. The physician has the option to extend the visit at no additional charge to the patient. The duration of the visit will be specified on the doctor search results page.

What do I need for Online Consultation video conferencing?

After you set-up an account, you will be able to use a simple test and check if your system is ready for a video consultation using the link 'Check Your System' on your Dashboard.

To use video conferencing you need:

  • Computers, laptops and tablets running on any of the following browsers: Google Chrome (latest release version), Firefox (latest release version), Internet Explorer 10 and 11, Opera (latest release version).
  • For internet explorer, you will be prompted to follow a set of instructions to download and install a plugin to allow the video session to function. Safari does not currently provide support for our video sessions.
  • Mobile devices with the following browsers: Google Chrome for Android (latest release version) and Firefox for Android (latest release version). 
  • We recommend Google Chrome as it provides the most stable platform for the video sessions. Our screen sharing options also work best on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Internet explorer does not currently support our screen sharing application. You can download the browsers from following URL’s:

  • High speed internet connection
  • A webcam with at least 1.3 megapixels
  • Microphone (most webcams already have microphone built in)

How much does it cost to do Online Consultation?

The doctors decide how much they want to charge for the consultation. Please note that certain doctors charge a premium for calls outside normal work hours and during weekends.

How do I find the right provider for me?

All of our providers are listed online. You can search providers by their name or by specialty. For the selected specialty, we use an algorithm to list providers based on the recommendations received, average feedback rating, their experience, their qualification and the number of consultations done.
You can further refine your search based on the filtering criteria provided by us. Also, for each doctor, we provide detailed information covering his/her qualification, experience in years, awards, hospital associations, etc so that you can make an informed selection.

Can I be sure a provider will be available even during non standard business hours?

It is our endeavor that LogintoHealth providers will be available 24 hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days a year including holidays. However, there are times when a patient may have the choice of several doctors, or only a few or none. 

Do LogintoHealth providers speak other languages besides English?

While some of the participating providers do speak other languages, LogintoHealth is currently only available in English and Hindi.

If the provider recommends that I see a specialist or primary care physician, do I still pay for the visit?

Yes. Like seeing any doctor, if you are referred to another provider, the consultation fees still apply. 

Am I charged if I miss a scheduled visit?

  • If you cancel 4 hours before the appointment time, we will recredit 100% of the amount to your LogintoHealth account or refund 95% within 14 days if you send us a written request. 
  • If you cancel less than 4 hours and prior to 30 minutes before the appointment time, we will recredit 85% of the amount to your LogintoHealth account or refund 75% within 14 days if you send us a written request. 
  • If you cancel less than 30 minutes before the appointment time and for a no show, we will recredit 75% of the amount to your LogintoHealth account or refund 75% within 14 days if you send us a written request. 

What if I lose internet connection during the video call?

  • Rejoin the call at any time: Click the green call button.
  • For Incomplete call due to network issue: SMS us CD on +918431200200 within 15 minutes from your scheduled consultation end time. For e.g. for a 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM consultation, SMS us before 3:30 PM.
  • If the doctor confirms the same, money will be re-credited to your LogintoHealth account.
  • In case of any grievances, you may write to us through the Contact Us section of our site.

What if the Online Consultation Phone call drops?

  • Call on +918431200200 and select option 3 for a call drop.
  • Please call within 15 minutes of your scheduled consultation call end time. For e.g. if the scheduled call was from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM, please call us by 3:30 PM.
  • You can call multiple times within this period.
  • However, if the Practitioner is unavailable for any reason or network issues, please write to us through Contact Us section of our site for a full re-credit in your LogintoHealth account within 7 days of the call. 

What if the doctor does not join the Online Consultation phone or video call?

For the phone call:

  • At the scheduled time of the Online Consultation, we first call you and then call the doctor.
  • If we are unable to reach the doctor in the first attempt, we will call you again within 5 minutes.
  • In case the doctor does not take the call in the second attempt as well, we will cancel the consultation and recredit the money in your LogintoHealth account within 7 days of the call.

For video call:

  • Please allow a few minutes for the doctor to join the call.
  • We also send a reminder to the doctor for the call once you join the call.
  • Please remain on the screen and wait for the doctor to join the call.
  • If doctor does not join during the 15 minute timeslot, the money will be re-credited to your LogintoHealth account by the system automatically within 7 days of the call.

Why are some providers available by “video” while others are available by “phone?”

Providers have the option to make themselves available online by video or by phone (or both), which can vary depending on the time of day, day of the week, and computer access. If they are only available by phone, that will be the only way to connect with that provider at that particular time. 

Is there any advantage in selecting the providers that are online?

We display doctors that are available online and whose slots are available immediately to provide faster access to practitioners. However, there are times when the doctors, despite being online, might not be able to accept your request due to other engagements. In such a case, the doctor will attempt to confirm the appointment request within 24 hours.

You can also send an appointment request to any of our offline practitioners who will also usually confirm the same within 24 hours.
